GEMCO delivers Mobile Command Units for NATO Summit in The Hague

GEMCO has recently produced a first series of Mobile Command Units (MCUs) for the Dutch Ministry of Defense. The primary purpose of these units is to enable local surveillance in areas with an elevated threat level.

During the NATO Summit in The Hague, two units were deployed by the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee (Military Police). Given the heightened risk and threat level surrounding the summit, the highest possible security standard was required — a challenge the MCUs were purpose-built to meet.

All units are equipped with IT equipment, IT workstations, and 15-metre telescopic masts fitted with camera systems for data and image analysis. Power is supplied through a hybrid system consisting of grid power, a battery pack, and a backup generator, ensuring maximum operational continuity under all circumstances.

GEMCO is proud of its cooperation with the Dutch armed forces and extends special thanks to everyone involved in this project for their dedication and trust.
